Necklace Lengths & Styling Guide
Understanding Necklace Lengths
14 - 15 inches - Commonly referred to as a choker. Sits snugly at the base of the neck, perfect for dainty chains and small pendants.
16 inches - Sits right at the collarbone and perfect for a chains or pendants. We love this with an open collared shirt, v-neck and as a first layered necklace.
18 - 19 inches - Hits right below the collarbone. This is standard chain length and works with almost every neckline and body type. Many chunky beaded necklaces are this length. A pendant necklace will also stand out on this length chain or cord. This length is also perfect as a second layered necklace.
20 inches - Falls just above the bust, making it a great choice for pendant necklaces or a second or third layered necklace.
22 to 24 Inches - Rests at the mid-chest and works beautifully with statement necklaces and larger pendants.
